Gravitational Time Dilation

Corollary IV

A thousand years to you are like one day;
they are like yesterday, already gone,
like a short hour in the night.

(Psalms 90:4) Good News Translation

If Einstein’s prediction of gravitational time dilation proves relativity, then does Moses description of it in about 1,400 BC prove the Bible?

We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) want to run that by you again in slow-motion. Albert Einstein predicted that gravity would affect time. This prediction was experimentally confirmed. It’s routinely claimed that since Einstein made a prediction about gravitational time dilation which has been experimentally confirmed, then this proves the theory of relativity.

Now, by the same logic, if gravitational time dilation was described by Moses about 1,400 years BC, does it prove the Bible? We’re going to show you that the theory of relativity is an opportunistic rationalization of circumstantial evidence. It’s a load of dingo’s kidneys.

Why does it matter?

more so than the man who never enjoys life, though he may live two thousand years. After all, both of them are going to the same place.

(Ecclesiastes 6:6) Good News Translation

Time passes more slowly the closer you are to a large source of gravity. We call the phenomenon gravitational time dilation (GTD). Incidentally, the only large source of gravity we have with which to test this assumption is the Earth itself.

GTD isn’t just something that you have to learn if you study physics. It has a real world practical application which affects everybody who uses a smartphone. Smartphones have GPS (Global Positioning System) capabilities which allow for incredible applications of technology like Uber and other ride hailing services. That’s just one of hundreds of applications of the GPS system.

GPS is a system of satellites which orbit the Earth at an altitude of 26,541 km above the center of the Earth. Did you notice that? The center of the earth. Not the surface of the Earth. At their orbital distance, time passes on the GPS satellites more quickly than it does at the surface of the Earth. It’s very important to know this because if we don’t make continual corrections to the clocks in the satellites over a period of time they’ll become inaccurate. Eventually the GPS system would become useless.

At an orbital radius of 26,541 km above the center of the earth time passes faster on GPS satellites by 38,640 nanoseconds per day.

Matty’s Paradox

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

(2 Peter 3:8) King James Version

There are two components to time dilation: gravitational and relativistic. The gravitational component is by far the largest and it’s the one which is significant to us. 2 Peter 3:8 is a mathematically perfect equation for GTD.

The mainstream science (SciPop) community takes GTD to be proof of relativity. This is sleight-of-hand. GTD isn’t proof of relativity, because relativity is an inductive rationalization of circumstantial evidence. GTD is proof of time dilation. Relativity is an opportunistic hack job which just happens to be wrong, not about the prediction of time dilation, about the nature of time dilation.

The creation of gravity gives us the origin of GTD. It allows us to resolve the apparent difference between the Biblical age of the Earth (approx. 6,000 years) and the age of the remote regions of the cosmos (approx. 13.8 billion years). The further away from the center of the Earth you are, the faster time travels. The closer you are to the center of Earth the slower time goes until you reach the center where time is stopped, except that it’s theoretically impossible to reach the exact center if time is slowing down the closer you get to it. It’s an event horizon. The ramifications of GTD are known as Matty’s Paradox.

Matty’s Paradox

The ramifications of gravitational time dilation (GTD).

Since we used deduction, and our conclusion is logically certain, the fact that our theory is parsimonious with all physical evidence and empirical observations is compelling evidence that the conclusion that we’ve deduced is correct. The significance of having a Biblical theory of gravitation is so profound that physics is going to be grappling with it for generations. It solves many seemingly unsolvable problem, such as the unified field theory.

The New Physics

Now that I am old and my hair is gray,
do not abandon me, O God!
Be with me while I proclaim your power and might
to all generations to come.

(Psalms 71:18) Good News Translation

The question that we should be asking is: Are Psalms 90:4 and 2 Peter 3:8 a poetic way to express the idea that God is outside of time? Or is it a statement of gravitational time dilation?

The charge has been made that the Matty’s Paradigm Geocentrospheric cosmological model and law of gravitation aren’t valid since they aren’t predictive. We have now refuted this charge. Matty’s law of Biblical gravitation is predictive and testable in the same way that relativity is. It has exactly the same outcomes because it describes exactly the same class of observations.

Based on its occurrence in Psalms 90, a prayer of Moses the man of God, gravitational time dilation was described about 1,400 years BC. Now, using SciPop logic, if confirmation of time dilation is proof of relativity, then it’s also must be proof that the Bible is true…

In Matty’s Paradigm we believe that heaven, the firmament, is a sphere of rigid crystal on the edge of space. It’s a source of gravity because of the gravitational attraction imparted to it by the field emitted from the Earth. Using the measurements of GTD from GPS satellites and other sources we have compiled a set of GTD data points. This gives us a way to calculate the distance to the firmament. The calculations may be found in the post time dilation math.

This gives a way to understand how long it would take for the Star of Bethlehem, for instance, to travel from the firmament to Earth. On one hand it ought to take 21,000 years to travel 21,000 light years, but, if time is going faster at the firmament by 1,000 years for every day on Earth then this cuts down the travel time considerably.

When you realize the power that we have to overcome all obstacles in physics, astronomy and cosmology by understanding that gravity is emitted from the center of a spherical Earth, it kinda makes you realize the absolute stupidity of the claim that flat Earth is Biblical.
