Scripture hypothesis test scripture against itself
If you think that a scripture verse contains a useful scientific fact, it’s necessary to test the premise for which you need the fact against the broad narrative of scripture. There has to be congruence between that the scripture says, the meaning of the original Hebrew or Greek words, and whatever scientific concept you think is involved.
