The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God.
(Isaiah 40:3) NKJV
Prepare ye the way of the Lord. Perhaps the spirit of Elijah is here, in which case, this is another sign of the times.
And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
(Matthew 17:10-13) KJV
Jesus told his disciples that John the Baptist was Elijah. However, Jesus also spoke of his second coming and this is extensively developed throughout the scripture, most notably in the Revelation. If the spirit of Elijah appeared at the Lord’s first coming, then why wouldn’t he appear for the Lord’s triumphant return?
He will, Jesus said that he would. He will return to restore all things. Perhaps this includes harmonizing the Bible with science, but real science not mainstream science (SciPop).
