Creationism Schism

This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men. Tectonic breakup of Pangaea had to be after Babel. It’s a logically certain conclusion. It’s the only way to reconcile the Bible with the physical evidence. The result is a perfect harmonization of scripture with science.

Popular science (SciPop) is once again exposed as a fraud. How is it then that there are two sects within Creationism and they’re both wrong? Creationism has shot itself in the foot by conflating Noah’s flood with Peleg’s tectonics.

The problem isn’t scripture or the science. The problem seems to be egos and inertia. Creationism is mired in personality clashes which makes it such an embarrassment that we struck out on our own years ago and never looked back. We have a Christian brother who is diligently trying to speak peace to all sides of the debate and he keeps us informed of developments, but we don’t pay attention to any of it.

Having said that, since, for the sake of our Christian brother, we reluctantly reached out (expecting to be blown off) to the Creationist establishment with a heads up about the theory of gravitation and were summarily blown off with some superficial fluff, we’re going to flay Creationism wide open and expose it’s shortcomings. Maybe someone will wake up.
