The story of Babylon (Babel) shows us that having a universal language is dangerous. It gives us the power to do things which would be otherwise impossible. Guess what? Math is a universal language. Go figure.
Creationism Schism
Tectonic breakup of Pangaea had to be after Babel. It's a logically certain conclusion. It's the only way to reconcile the Bible with the physical evidence. The result is a perfect harmonization of scripture with science.
Hypothesis 35
The Pangaea super-continent was broken into continental landmasses sometime after the tower of Babel. People and fauna were dispersed to all corners of Pangaea and then the tectonic plates formed.
Scattered Abroad
You would think that something as significant as the birth of all human culture taking place after the dispersal from Noah's ark would be noticed. Sure enough, that's what the record of history tells us happened.
A Universal Language
People think that math is real. That's because its use in engineering and medicine produces a beneficial result. There's another side to math which is theoretical. Theoretical means imaginary.
Distribution of Biodiversity
There were two horses on Noah’s ark but now there are at least seven species in genus Equus. That's speciation or macro-evolution. It's not a problem because the process of evolution has a scriptural context.
Pangaean Mediterranean
We have very little scriptural account of what happened in the period between Noah's flood and Peleg, besides Babel. What we do have, however, indicates that Pangaea had a precursor of the Mediterranean Sea.
The Sons of Noah
The time between Noah's flood and Peleg's tectonics was when the dispersal from Babel took place. From Babel small family groups spread out, figuratively speaking, to the ends of the Earth.
September 5th
101 years elapsed between the end of Noah's flood and the birth of Peleg when the tectonic plates formed. The establishment and abandoning of Babel and the spread of people across Pangaea took place during this period of time.
September 1st
In SciPop, all of the continents were once part of the super-continent Pangaea. This is Biblical and it allows us to incorporate plate tectonics and evolution into the creation narrative.
