The parallels between light and good vs. darkness and evil are stated throughout scripture. Isaiah laments people who try to make you believe that good is evil and evil is good, and who put darkness for light.

Hell is Real but God is Good
The universe has been created so that we can exist. Our existence is an opportunity to see for ourselves what God has revealed about Himself and make a choice: 1. Do we want to be with God in eternity, 2. or not?
Free Will
There are two issues that help us to understand the reason for why we were created with free will and how this is even possible given the nature of God as pure and holy, not to mention omnipresent and omniscient.
The Answer to Life, the Universe and Everything
This life is our opportunity to experience sentient life. God is the source of this life and he's made this obvious. However, he's not going to make us believe a certain way. We're free to believe whatever we want about life.

We have two natures, carnal and spiritual: the duality of man. It finds its way into everything, including scientific investigation. Evolution is a duality of truth and error. You need to know what's truth, and what's error.
