This life is our opportunity to experience sentient life. God is the source of this life and he’s made this obvious. However, he’s not going to make us believe a certain way. We’re free to believe whatever we want about life.
Our freedom to choose gives us the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything. Now we can answer the ultimate question of Why did God create the universe? using both the purpose of creation and the reason for creation we may combine them into an ultimate answer of life, the universe and everything: (it isn’t 42)

The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything:God created the universe so that sentient beings with free will could make a choice between light or darkness, life or death.

This may be kinda cool but it’s by no means a groundbreaking discovery because it’s been expressly stated by Jeremiah in the passage above. This choice is made by believing in Jesus Christ.
