The truth about God is self-evident but we’ve all been given free will. Therefore there must be a plausible alternative to the truth for those who want it. It’s called the strong delusion or the power of error.
We’ve often said that we’re here to destroy the theoretical foundation of Failed science (SciPop). This comes up on Twitter when someone suggests that we have our work peer reviewed and then they might take it seriously. The problem is that peer review serves to maintain the internal logical consistency of the SciPop paradigm and, since that’s what we’re here to destroy, peer review is beyond irrelevant.
Sometimes we wonder if we’re being overly dramatic. However, let’s consider the reason why we began this ministry in the first place: Hell is expanding. It’s the cause of global warming. Jesus Christ is the only way to avoid it. The great commission is designed to save souls from hell. So in this context let’s examine the role that SciPop plays in influencing a person’s eternal destiny using deductive reasoning:
A Stumbling Block
- IF everyone who rejects Jesus Christ is going to hell,
- THEN anything that causes someone to reject Jesus Christ is a stumbling block.
Identify Culpability
- IF SciPop is a rationalization of how we can exist that doesn’t require God,
- THEN it makes the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ seem to be irrelevant.
The Critical Error
- IF someone rejects Jesus Christ because they believe that SciPop makes the gospel irrelevant,
- THEN they’re going to hell.
Our Calling
- IF SciPop is a stumbling block that sends people to hell,
- THEN it must be destroyed.
We don’t think that we’re being overly dramatic.
Our Mission
- IF the SciPop interpretation of the evidence is wrong,
- THEN we can deduce an interpretation of the evidence which is right.
The thing to remember is that the truth about our creator God is so obvious that no one has an excuse not to believe, however, we’ve been given free will and we’re allowed to believe whatever we want. This is the reason why there has to be a plausible alternative to the truth, a strong delusion, which people will accept because they want to believe the lie that there’s no God. As such this situation isn’t anyone’s fault and it’s not some shadowy global conspiracy. It’s God’s will.
Therefore thus says the LORD: ‘Behold, I will lay before this people stumbling blocks against which they shall stumble; fathers and sons together, neighbor and friend shall perish.’”

Hominid evolution is an example of the strong delusion. The evolution narrative requires that the skulls of Homo sapiens are coded as the advanced or derived condition while anything else is coded as primitive or ancestral. The premise of evolution has been used in coding a character state matrix. However, H. sapiens is the primitive or ancestral condition, because humans were created fully formed, and other hominid skulls are derived from it. It demonstrates that devolution not evolution has been taking place since the fall of man.
