Math = Faith
But people will tell you to ask for messages from fortunetellers and mediums, who chirp and mutter. They will say, “After all, people should ask for messages from the spirits and consult the dead on behalf of the living.”
You are to answer them, “Listen to what the Lord is teaching you! Don’t listen to mediums—what they tell you cannot keep trouble away.”
(Isaiah 8:19-20) Good News Translation
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see. Math requires believing in concepts that you can’t see, and relating them to each other in ways that can’t be seen. Math is inductive, reductive, circular faith.
Yesterday we deduced an accurate definition of faith which does two things:
- It demonstrates understanding of what evidence is and how it’s used,
- it’s derived from Hebrews 11:1
Let’s look at an example of something that we can’t see, but which we believe: Math. People today think that math is some kind of crystal ball which can tell the future. Along with that here’s our working definition of faith:
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.
– Faith, definition
A technical term may be “modeling” but the belief is that, so long as we have the math figured out, there won’t be any surprises. It’s all under control. As such, it becomes necessary to reduce the world around us into some simple concepts which can be expressed mathematically as numerals. The numerals can interact with each other in a way which has no bearing at all on the concepts that they’re meant to embody, and with no connection to or consequences in the real world.
Don’t worry about it though, peer review said it’s totally fine. Have faith. Faith is believing something that you can’t see. In this case you can’t see a uniform hollow sphere shell of uniform areal mass density. You have to imagine that it exists before your math can work.
You are Stubborn and Evil
But you have done even worse than your ancestors. All of you are stubborn and evil, and you do not obey me.
(Jeremiah 16:12) Good News Translation
Mathematicians and Physicists are the modern-day wizards who chirp and mutter. Chirp here is the Hebrew word tsaphaph, the chirp of a bird. Math can be used to prove anything – so long as you have faith in the imaginary concepts that the symbols represent, and the imaginary relationships that are theorized.
- IF faith is believing in something that you can’t see,
- AND math requires believing in things that can’t be seen,
- THEN math = faith.
We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) already deduced that theory is the scientific word for faith, now we have deduced that math is the language of faith.
Secular culture has rallied around people who advance themselves by professing to be wise in the ways of science, and they are led by those who demonstrate mastery of math and physics. This is how they’ve perpetrated some of the most egregious falsehoods ever unknown. They’re unknown because they’re math. Most people are happy to believe that if it’s math it must be right, because it’s math. Math doesn’t lie, is a mantra. Math may not lie, but it’s been used to describe an imaginary world which is a lie.
Fortunately we have the armor of light. We can defend against SciPop math. If the math makes it look like the fulfillment of Biblical prophesy is impossible, then obviously the math is wrong. Duh! It’s that simple. The math may be logically sound and internally consistent but the concepts are imaginary and the conclusions are fictional.
The wizards who peep and mutter and tell us that the universe is expanding, then rattle off imaginary rationalizations like redshift and dark matter, have no light in them. People want it to be true because they think it means that there’s no heaven or hell. Heaven and hell are both real, and whatever math you have that you think disproves them is imaginary.
