Something that you may hear if you discuss religion with other people are questions like, Why does God allow evil to exist? It's a really good question, but fortunately we have a really good answer.
I Am the Light of Life
On the 7th day God rested from his work of creating. This may have been the last time that the world could have been described as very good. It was the peace before the storm. Tomorrow we begin to look at what happens next.
Light or Darkness?
Darkness forms in response to the light God created, but God isn't darkness. Evil forms in response to the peace that God created, but God isn't evil.
Job 28:3 Translation
There is a description of the core accretion model in the Hebrew text of Job 28:3. We make a systematic survey of the text, and bring forth this meaning.
Death-like shadow: וְצַלְמָֽוֶת – tsalmaveth
The shadow of death: וְצַלְמָֽוֶת - tsalmaveth [death-like shadow, deep shadow] meaning to roll or tumble down. i.e. sink, sinking in the shadow of death.
Darkness Did Not Comprehend It
Why did it get dark at the end of the 1st day? It wasn't absence of light, it was obstruction of light by the corruption which resulted from the appearance of light. It needed a new name: night.
Truth is Light, Darkness is Evil
It's ironic that the period of history that brought us the scientific advances of Galileo, Kepler and Newton is called The Enlightenment, because this was when the human race plunged into darkness.
August 11th
The description of the Pennsylvanian we have is an example of how to use inductive rationalization to make the remains of an ecosystem sound like it's evidence for a period of time.
July 4th
The fall of man and the corrupted state of creation aren't the same thing. The universe had to be created in a corrupted state so that the fall of man could take place.
Where Light Dwells
Night was the darkness that resulted from the creation of light. Now God has gathered up all the darkness into a ball at the center of a spherical creation so night, technically, is inside the earth at this point.
