Meaning comes from context. For example the phrase "were garnished" in Revelation 21:19. One meaning could be: the wall of the city had foundations, and the foundations had been decorated with precious stones.

December 11th

Let's take stock of our surroundings and gather our perspective. The word perspective doesn't occur in the King James Bible. The idea, point of view, does. We refer to it as frame of reference.

December 9th

When the new Jerusalem comes down from God out of heaven the Earth will be gone, so what does the new Jerusalem come down to? What can we deduce about the new Earth of Revelation 21?

December 4th

Life is temporary. What comes next? God's given us a description of what comes next and the choice of whether or not to believe it. We acknowledge belief in God's testimony by accepting Jesus Christ as our savior.

December 1st

We refer to the life after this one as "heaven" because we haven't paid attention to what the Bible says. We'll eventually live in a new Jerusalem at the the location presently occupied by our Earth.

November 27th

Anyone who survives the tribulation will live in peace on the Lord's holy mountain, build a shelter, plant a grape vine, and enjoy the good things of life. You just have to survive.

November 25th

Zechariah chapter 14 is like a backbone. It lays out a transition from the tribulation to the Millennial Kingdom and we can add other passages of scripture which spread out from it like ribs to give us more detail.
