The Milk of the Word

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

(1 Peter 2:1-3) KJV

If a baby needs milk to survive before it can tolerate solid food, has this been patterned after the processes which took place on the first and second days of the creation of the universe?

It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

(Hebrews 9:23) KJV

Here milk is used in a spiritual context: young believers aren’t expected to understand nuanced and complicated Biblical doctrines, but long time believers should be able to. However, it’s logical to assume that this usage is patterned after something, especially when we can see it as a vital step in the creative process.

Pattern and Process

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

(1 Corinthians 3:1-2) KJV

In the construction of a vast array of complex forms including a rich diversity of organic life, why wouldn’t there be an intermediate step? Again, we go back to the way that God has patterned processes after each other in the Bible.

We find that there are passages of scripture which, though appearing metaphorical, describe actual physical conditions or chemical reactions. These misunderstood passages are dismissed as flowery poetic language. This means that the “milk of the Word” may be taken to be metaphorical, but it also has a literal interpretation which is accurate physics, chemistry and biology. It’s a positive result in Hypothesis 22.

There’s another strand of our literal interpretation to pull on. The milk of the word is taken as a metaphor for the Word of God and the importance of the Bible in the spiritual growth of Christians. However, the Word is also a synonym for God the Son and we’re told that all things were made by him. Therefore, the Word is the body of matter from which the universe was made which we have, by a painstaking process of deduction, resolved with the deep. Therefore the milk of the word is the transformation of the deep into milk in the process of manifesting sentient life with free will.

Thought Experiment

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

(Hebrews 5:12-14) NKJV

Let’s do a thought experiment. We should ponder the physical processes which would take place if, let’s imagine, gravity was created in a formless mass of water which had become the quintessential primordial soup, or rather, a vast mass of unpasteurized milk?

When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

(Proverbs 8:27) KJV

At the end of the first day the deep was like milk. Here comes our visualization: When God created gravity the milky suspension began to separate. Cream rises to the top of milk. This is how we may visualize the effect of the compass on the face of the depth.

The heavens were established when the point of a metaphorical compass was set as the place where a gravitational singularity was created. The circle is the location of the firmament.

(Proverbs 8:27) Paraphrased

The form became a sphere around the central point of gravity. The heaviest elements, molecules and the densest particles would immediately sink to and accumulate around the singularity.

This would cause displacement of lighter less-dense forms out towards the periphery which is now spherical. Cells in suspension are low-density in comparison to water so they rise to the outer surface of the sphere of liquid, the very lightest and least-dense particles came out of suspension into a layer, and the cream became a thin skin. During the day this stratified and crystallized giving rise to a rigid firmament, a hollow sphere of layered crystal.

At the center the Earth was a ball of dirt with the heaviest elements at its center and lighter and less dense materials towards its surface. The sediment continues to deposit, becoming denser and more compact. The volume of material inside the sphere described by the cream layer contracts.

Open space appears between the surface of the water below and the inner surface of the cream which has solidified. This causes gasses like Nitrogen and Oxygen to come out of solution and form an atmosphere. Free Oxygen combines with many elements including Iron, causing Iron oxides to precipitate out of solution into concentric rings around the growing core.

Both Earth and the firmament were covered with water. The water is becomes clearer and less opaque as the suspended sediments are deposited. Broadly speaking this is very similar in many ways to the narrative that popular science (SciPop) has for the origin of our atmosphere and the deposition of sediments known as the Banded Iron Formations.

Rock formations dated as Precambrian were deposited on the second day in response to the creation of gravity. This is Hypothesis 1.
