Noah’s Flood

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

(2 Peter 3:5) KJV

SciPop claims that there’s no evidence of Noah’s flood, which would have left evidence everywhere. It did: the world-wide distribution of sedimentary rock is the evidence.

First we have to understand the difference between the Precambrian and what that comes after it. The Precambrian was deposited on the second day in response to the creation of gravity. The fossils in it are evidence of life which developed on the first day of creation. They were not deposited in Noah’s flood.

So where’s the evidence? How do we resolve this? This month we’ll take a guided tour through the stratigraphic column with Wilson N. Stewart. He’s an interesting character. When we were in grad school many years ago we had a conversation with our advisor about his book, Paleobotany and the evolution of plants. Our advisor expressed to us that some of the other faculty weren’t happy with her choice of textbook for our class because, they said, he made it seem too much like there was a global flood.

This significance of this was lost on us at the time and we scoffed at the mere mention of such an idiotic notion. It’s been percolating through our brain recently and we have to wonder if perhaps Dr. Stewart is another Kepler-type, who has built the Death Star of SciPop with a weakness like a small thermal exhaust port.

We’re going to show you how every bit of the stratigraphic column is a description of an ecosystem or habitat which was buried in Noah’s flood, or in an upheaval which happened subsequent to the flood. It wasn’t deposited over millions of years. There are no millions of years – on Earth. However, there are billions of years at the remote regions of the cosmos thanks to gravitational time dilation.
