The east of Eden may seem like a vague reference, particularly if we were asking for directions, but it may be the location of an intriguing event which may have jump started the development of technology.
The Multitude of Merchandise
According to Ezekiel the anointed Cherub had finely crafted garments and played musical instruments. He was stationed on the East of Eden. Remember that.
Till Iniquity was Found
We're told that the anointed cherub was in Eden the garden of God. He was upon the holy mountain of God and walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire until iniquity was found in him.
Deductive Questioning
Deductive reasoning is a way to use logic to deduce the answers to questions, but it's also used to deduce which questions we should be asking. We use a technique which we call deductive questioning.
Deductive Reasoning
It's not a good idea to pull Bible passages out of context because we've decided what we want them to mean and then proclaim that we have some new doctrine. That's inductive reasoning, or eisegesis.
Relationship of Cause and Effect
Understanding cause and effect, the essence of logic and reason, is critical in successfully deducing how the Bible can account for all of the physical evidence and our empirical observations of the universe.
The Broad Narrative of Scripture
The Bible is consistent throughout because it combines spiritual concepts, like good and evil, with their physical expression in space and time as light and darkness. It describes their permanent physical separation.
Satan isn’t the Anointed Cherub
An outcome of the theological spaghetti syndrome is that Satan gets the blame for everything, even when it's physically impossible to have been at the crime scene. The anointed cherub is a good example.
Satan Wasn’t in Eden
We (that's me and the Holy spirit) refute the widely held belief that Satan was in the garden of Eden and that he brought about the fall of man. It fails to take into account the relationship between cause and effect.
The Holy Trinity
1 John 5:7 gives us the Holy trinity. All three of them are present in Genesis 1:2 if "The Word" is God the Son, Jesus Christ, whom we have resolved with the deep.
