"Rise of higher insects and birds" is an example of Paleodoublespeak. Jurassic sediment contains the preserved remains of dead insects and birds. That's not evidence of their rise. It's evidence of their extinction.
Uniform, Mild Climates
The Triassic marks a return to the format which we saw repeatedly for the periods of the Paleozoic era. We know that these sediments were deposited during the deluge phase of Noah's flood because of the climate statement.
Arid to Semiarid, Savanna Type Climates
The paleoenvironments of the periods of geological history that we're seen so far include a statement about climate as a way to rationalize why so much sediment would be eroded, transported and deposited.
Passive Aggressive Special Pleading
Here's an example of a Christian who sounds like an atheist, using the scientific paradigm and tactics of atheism. "Being a geophysicist, I do not take the pillars of the Earth literally."
Sedimentary, My Dear Watson
Floods leave deposits of sediment. Over time sediment can become rock. If animals and plants are trapped in the sediment they become fossils. Sedimentary rock covers about 70% of the earth's surface.
Established Science
There was a time when we stopped using the phrase cluelessness event horizon because we thought that it was needlessly judgmental. Sadly, it serves such an essential function that it's here to stay.
Where is Hell?
Sadly, it appears that the majority of scientifically-minded Christians who have a working knowledge of geologic and tectonic process of the Earth will defiantly reject a model which has hell at the center.
Abraham and Lazarus
We have spent considerable time on resolving all of the issues which pertain to the parable of Abraham and Lazarus. They aren't in heaven, they're in sheol. This isn't metaphorical, it's accurate geology.
The Pillars of the Earth and it’s Original Radius
There are some clues for us to be able to figure out the Earth's former size. This comes from the pillars of the Earth which are part of its internal structure.
P-waves
The study of P and S-waves led to the development of the current theory of the internal structure of the Earth. A theory that just happens to be missing something rather important: hell.
