To cut off, destroy: קְצֵה – qatseh, qatsah, qatsu

The eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth. This has a familiar ring to it. How about this for comparison? All his life has he looked away…

This isn’t talking about the edge of a flat earth, it’s talking about someone who lets his or her mind wander off into… the Star Trek universe of SciPop.

Let’s keep going, can we find something which clearly states that the earth has an edge? Qatseh, qatsah and qatsu all have the same root so we’ll consider them together.

What about this? Is this describing the circumferential edge of a flat earth? Could this just as easily be referring to the coast, the extremity where where the land is cut off? The end of the land where it meets the sea? The limit to how far you can go? Cut off? Could this be the edge of the earth? In Habakkuk it means to kill people. Their life got cut off.

Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.

(Habakkuk 2:10) KJV

If the feminine form is the end or extremity of space, and the masculine form is the ends of the earth, is this where the transition from earth to space begins? Is this the edge of a flat earth or the space above a spherical earth? It can be both. Is there anything here which requires a specific meaning? NO.
