A recurring theme in scripture is heaven above and Earth below. Orientation occurs for the first time on the second day. It's an ordering of the universe which occurred in response to the creation of gravity.
Gravitational Time Dilation
The Bible predicts time dilation as observed. It is caused by the operation of gravity according to our axiomatic definition, which is congruent with practical mathematical applications.
Spherical Earth Deduction
We have a way to account for physical evidence, the banded iron formations and enigmatic Precambrian fossils, in a way that's strikingly similar to the narrative induced by popular science (SciPop).
Flat Earth Induction
There's a side effect to the creation of gravity that's going to upset some people: if the Earth formed around a gravitational singularity then it's spherical. It's impossible for the Earth to be flat.
Tradition
Obviously the earth isn't flat, therefore, the Spirit of Truth can't lead you to that conclusion. It's very simple, God isn't going to expect you to believe something that's obviously wrong.

"If the theory agrees with the facts." Albert Einstein (1905). What facts? They're are an inductive rationalization derived from accepting the theory (circular reasoning).

The firmament accounts for our empirical observations of the cosmos, it’s the “missing” 90% of the mass of the universe. We propose a mechanism for how the inner surface was blackened at the beginning of the fourth day.
March 30th
Any Biblically accurate model of Earth must have a spherical Earth is at the center of a spherical cosmos, and the cosmos is enclosed within a rigid sphere of layered crystal called the firmament.

If you want to believe that earth is flat no one's going to stop you. However nothing in the Bible, either in the meaning of words or in the context of passages, requires you to believe that earth is flat and has an edge.
