The Foundations of Heaven

Then the earth trembled and shook; the foundations of the sky rocked and quivered because God was angry!

(2 Samuel 22:8) Good News Translation

The foundation stones of the city wall were adorned with all kinds of precious stones. The first foundation stone was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh yellow quartz, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chalcedony, the eleventh turquoise, the twelfth amethyst.

Knowing how the firmament is constructed lets us (that’s me and the Holy spirit) interpret scripture and account for empirical observations of the cosmos, including 90% of the mass of the universe that mainstream science (SciPop) can’t find. We can then go on to propose a mechanism for how the inner surface of the firmament was blackened at the beginning of the fourth day.

The heavens were established when the point of a metaphorical compass was set as the place where a gravitational singularity was created. The circle is the location of the firmament.

(Proverbs 8:27) Paraphrased

Gravity was created on the second day. This was covered in the daily devotional for February. God metaphorically set a compass (drawing instrument) on the face of the deep. The point of the compass is a gravitational singularity that the Bible refers to as the foundations of the earth. The circle or sphere which was drawn is raqia, the firmament, a horizontal expanse or stretched out thinness like a metal sheet. It wasn’t metal, however, but layered crystalline construction according to our featured passage.

The Earth condensed into a solid sphere of concentrically layered sediment in what we’re calling the core accretion model. This is consistent with physical remains of Precambrian geological features such as the Banded Iron Formations. It’s when the fossils of the Ediacaran biota were deposited.

Something analogous to this was happening in the firmament. What may have begun as a loose accumulation of light-weight open-lattice compounds with low density crystallized to become rigid. It, like the Earth, is spherical, but it’s a size so great that it’s at the edge of space. What we arbitrarily call Quasars are the windows of heaven which are mentioned in Genesis 7:11 and 8:2.

Hypothesis 31 is that the heavens are a  layered crystalline structure which condensed out of the waters of the deep, doesn’t seem far-fetched when we consider the passage today. In fact, knowing the end from the beginning and the beginning from the end, its description of the foundations of heaven as a layered structure of twelve different crystalline compounds is a perfect fit with Bowen’s reaction series.

Predictive Testable Hypothesis 31

• IF the creation of gravity on the 2nd day caused 2 main formations of sediment to be deposited:
  1. Concentric layers accumulated around a singularity forming a spherical earth,
     • These deposits include, among other things, the Banded Iron Formations.
  2. Approximately 1,736,441 light years from the singularity a series of layers crystallized to form the firmament, also known as the body of heaven:
     • The upper part of the series is described in Revelation 21,
     • The lower part of the series broke apart to become the stars.
• THEN minerals in the series will show evidence of a transition in several properties.
