A great multitude is saved out of great tribulation because the Church, Christians, are still here as an effective witness to the saving grace of God.
Matthew and Mark
Jesus' words in the gospels of Matthew and Mark appear to say that the elect will be gathered up after the tribulation is over. Well, mostly over. Six of the seven trumpets counts as mostly over.
5/7 Seal of God
During the plague of the 5th trumpet when horse-sized armor-plated locusts swarm out of the Earth it's said that they won't hurt those who have the seal of God on their foreheads.
The Last Trump is AFTER the First Six
There will be seven trumpets which initiate the plagues of the tribulation. Six of them will have sounded before the seventh and final trumpet sounds.
Rapture Doesn’t Mean “Caught Up.”
Rapture refers to how we will be changed, transformed, in the twinkling of an eye. It has nothing to do with being "caught up."
