We have a collection of predictive testable hypotheses which authenticate physical evidence of Noah's flood with the account in scripture. In science a collection of hypotheses which support a premise is called a theory.
Hypothesis 20
Our prediction is that there was a mass extinction of marine life during Noah's flood. The test is the stratigraphic evidence of a world-wide anoxic extinction. That's a scientific hypothesis.
A World-wide Anoxic Event
Anoxic means without Oxygen. All around the world we see contemporaneous evidence of a mass extinction of marine life caused by the depletion of oxygen in the water.
Iridium abundance maxima in the Upper Cenomanian extinction interval
Two iridium abundance peaks, both 0.11 ppb (whole‐rock basis) over local background of 0.017 ppb, have been found in Middle Cretaceous marine rocks near Pueblo, Colorado.
Cenomanian-Turonian
A world-wide anoxic extinction event above the Cretaceous/Tertiary boundary is a logical outcome of the worlds ecosystems decomposing in the waters of Noah's flood.
The Iridium Anomaly
We finished a step-by-step deconstruction of the Paleozoic and Mesozoic, but there’s another issue that we’re going to account for: the Iridium anomaly.
Hypothesis 19
The presence of extraterrestrial material at the Cretaceous/Tertiary (K/T) boundary gives us the premise for a predictive testable hypothesis. However, hypothesis 19 has nothing to do with a meteorite impact.
The Windows of Heaven
The windows of heaven are described in scripture as physical structures which may be opened or closed. This is possible because the firmament is a sphere of rigid crystal on the edge of space.
The Duration of Noah’s Flood
We need to understand where the Iridium anomaly is found in the stratigraphic column as compared to the sequence of Noah's flood that we can deduce from the sedimentary evidence.
Extraterrestrial Propaganda
Popular science (SciPop) is in love with the idea that an extraterrestrial impact caused a mass extinction at the end of the Cretaceous (Mesozoic) which wiped out the dinosaurs. There's evidence for meteorite impacts.
