Gravity decreases with altitude as one rises above the Earth’s surface because of a greater distance from the Earth’s center.
– Wikipedia
A lot of what we know about gravity was unknown to Sir Isaac Newton, like the seemingly simple and innocuous fact above. If, according to Newton’s premise, gravity is a property of matter, why would the effect of it be concentrated at the center of a body?
If the whole of Earth’s mass is contributing to its gravity, why doesn’t gravity decrease with altitude as one rises above the Earth’s SURFACE because of a greater distance from Earth’s SURFACE?
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.
– Matty’s Razor
The notion that gravity is a property of matter doesn’t match the observation of the behavior of gravity. Mainstream science (SciPop) is content to ignore this. The math works, so who cares? Unfortunately the math only works if you assume that gravity is concentrated at the center, not when you assume that it’s distributed throughout a body. The facts don’t match the theory.

Einstein has a simple solution for what to do when facts don’t match a theory: change the facts.
When facts don’t match a theory it means the theory is wrong.
The idea that matter causes gravity isn’t a conclusion which can be deduced from observing the behavior of gravity. It’s a premise which is used to induce a rationalization of our observations. It’s a bluff, merely scientific sleight-of-hand. Newton was clearly aware of this problem:
Tis inconceivable that inanimate brute matter should (without the mediation of something else which is not material) operate upon & affect other matter without mutual contact.
– Sir Isaac Newton
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.
– Faith, definition
Obviously Newton didn’t know about Higgs Boson particles, but they aren’t the cause of gravity either, they’re its mode of action. The Newton/Einstein SciPop paradigm is based on choosing to believe that it’s not necessary to know the cause of gravity, but the proportional relationship between matter and gravity is taken to be the cause. There are two problems with this approach:
- it’s circumstantial evidence,
- it’s an effect of gravity, not the cause.
What happened was that the effect of gravity was taken to be the cause. From this point on, all of the theoretical physics in the SciPop paradigm becomes an exercise in inductive, reductive circular reasoning.
This reversal of cause and effect has profound implications: Newton didn’t give us a universal law of gravitation, he gave us an opportunistic rationalization of circumstantial evidence which completely misses the point. The force that SciPop calls gravity is the manifestation of what was given us as the Law of Moses. Gravity is the Law. Gravity is the condemnation. Gravity is what we have to be saved from. Believing in Jesus Christ is the power to overcome the law of/and gravity.
