The Function of the Earth

For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

(Isaiah 45:18) KJV

Within the ultimate answer to life, the universe and everything we also have to understand that certain things have a specific function. The Earth, for instance, has a function in the fulfillment of the purpose, which is there for a reason. We are using the word function as follows:

Function means the kind of action or activity proper to a person, thing, or institution; the purpose for which something is designed or exists; role. (Dictionary.com); the action for which a person or thing is specially fitted or used or for which a thing exists : purpose (Merriam-Webster).

– Function, definition

The function of the Earth has two parts: a) to provide a place for sentient beings to make a choice between light or darkness, good or evil; b) to serve as the collection point for all those who choose darkness and evil.

– The Function of the Earth

Collection point is an innocuous way to refer to hell, the molten core of the Earth. We have to understand hell as a functional component of the reason and purpose of creation in a way that makes sense, and which allows us to embrace the truth that God is a loving God.
