Ultimate Responsibility

Therefore, as through one manโ€™s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Manโ€™s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

(Romans 5:18) NKJV

Adam let his wife be in charge and he did whatever she said, even when he knew that it was wrong, so, despite the fact that Adam had delegated leadership responsibility to his wife, God still held him accountable.

Man, Adam, bore the ultimate responsibility for what happened in the garden of Eden because he was the one who had been told not to eat the forbidden fruit.

We’ve used deductive reasoning and the curses that were placed on the woman to conclude that she had been given to him to inspire and motivate him to carry out the Lord’s will.

However, Adam let his wife be in charge and he did whatever she said, even when he knew that it was wrong, so, despite the fact that Adam had delegated leadership responsibility to his wife, God still held him accountable.

Mankind is still the means by which God will realize his vision of the Earth being subdued and tended as a beautiful garden, however, it’s not going to happen until Jesus himself is in charge during the millennial kingdom. That’s the devotional for November.

November

The tribulation, lifting up of Jerusalem, and establishment of the Millennial Kingdom.
