Corollary V – Kepler’s Laws

Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days.

(Daniel 2:27-28a) KJV

Kepler’s Laws are the weakest point of the theoretical foundation of mainstream science (SciPop). The weakness is that Kepler’s laws are derived empirically, but they’re applied theoretically.

Empirical means verifiable with direct observation. The direct observation in Kepler’s laws is that the sun is at one focus of elliptical planetary orbits. It’s empirical, but it’s where the SciPop freight train jumped the tracks and went steaming into fantasy land.

We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.

Matty’s Razor

Ellipses have two foci. Like, say, the Earth and the sun.

SciPop’s Kepler-based “empirical” cosmological system has one focus: the sun.

Established dogma is that there doesn’t need to be a source of gravity at the second focus of the ellipse. It’s the rhetoric that everyone has learned but, evidently, hasn’t thought through. In this scenario planetary orbits are elliptical because they’re ellipses. No joke. It’s a perfect example of intentionally reversing the roles of cause and effect. Apparently there was some external cause which made planetary orbits elliptical (which isn’t a testable hypothesis so it’s unscientific), and the two foci have been located by knowing the shape of the ellipse. It’s worth noting that a failure to acknowledge the correct relationship between cause and effect is a symptom of a reprobate mind. There’s a lot more Ad hock (added hack) rationale such as that for conic sections. In contrast our model has sources of gravity at both foci and that’s what defines an elliptical orbit.

Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.

– Faith, definition

The cause of the ellipse is the source of a lot of pseudoscientific speculation from which we get a manifestation of spandex hasbeens, probably the only socially acceptable only way for overweight middle-aged men to impress young boys and girls with spandex. It’s the leap of faith that everyone who believes SciPop has made, even though they’re not aware of it.

The way that this is resolved is incredibly simple. The planetary system which Kepler observed, in which the sun is at one focus of elliptical planetary orbits, just happens to orbit the Earth every day. Therefore the second focus is the Earth. Indeed, the Earth is actually F1 and the sun is F2. This is the perfect way to resolve all empirical observations.
