The Watchman

I set watchmen over you, saying, โ€˜Pay attention to the sound of the trumpet!โ€™ But they said, โ€˜We will not pay attention.โ€™

(Jeremiah 6:17) ESV

If we’re aware of danger and we have the opportunity to warn people but we donโ€™t do it, if they’re swept away when the danger comes then their blood will be on our hands.

If we warn people and they reject us then we’re not responsible for their outcome.

Our concern (me and the Holy spirit), the motivation for this ministry, is that death isn’t the sweet nothingness that popular science (SciPop) wants you to believe it is. It’s not the karmic return of our molecules and energy into the environment which continues the circle of life. Death is the end of a body, but our souls continue for ever.

Of course, you may want to insist that there’s no such thing as a soul because SciPop can’t detect it. We get it. We’ve illustrated the insane irrationality of taking the position that “if science can’t detect it, it doesn’t exist.” According to that argument, gravitational waves didn’t exist before September 2015. This reflects the failure of SciPop not that there’s no soul. Although, we have to say, is it really the failure of SciPop or have we glimpsed it’s unspoken mission which is to make you reject the idea that there’s a soul?

Satan is our enemy and he’s destined for hell and the lake of fire but he’s determined to take as many human souls as possible with him into damnation. It begins to look like Satan himself has guided the development of SciPop over the course of history to bring us to the point now where billions of people reject the possibility that there’s a soul and appear to have no concern at all about a possible afterlife.

These are deeply troubling issues, for we live in deeply troubling times. So to get back to our point: why does it matter? If we knew Jesus Christ during our lifetime then at death we’re purified, placed into a new body, and we go on into eternity in the presence of almighty God.

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.

(Ezekiel 33:1-6) KJV

Those who reject Christ will pass through death and awake to the horror of torment in hell. Itโ€™s not a pretty picture. There are times when we feel like apologizing for even writing the words. However, there’s a particular passage in the book of Ezekiel that speaks to us and the time that we’re in. This is in the same context that we’ve discussed previously, of having at our disposal an Internet capable of reaching pretty much everybody on Earth. With that capability comes a moral obligation to use it.

So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

(Ezekiel 33:7-9) KJV

SaveHere’s a warning that if we’ve the means and opportunity to warn someone about imminent danger, but we choose not to, then we’re accountable for whatever harm they suffer. Itโ€™s bleak, we know, but this gets to the very heart of this ministry. We’re going to use the Internet to warn everyone that we encounter that SciPop isn’t the benign friend that you think it is. You’re not safe from the judgment of God because you have a bunch of cool tech to play with. Indeed, all the evidence that SciPop claims as proof of its godless existence narrative can be shown to be evidence of the history of Earth exactly as described in the Bible.

Global warming is very real, but is isn’t the result of human activity on Earth. Global warming is caused by the expansion of hell as millions of human souls pour into it every day. Again, it’s bleak, we’re sorry. Yet there is an upside to this: Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior and you won’t suffer torment in hell. You’ll be received into glory in heaven. You would be well served to read the last two chapters of the Bible: Revelation 21 & 22.

Salvation

  1. Call upon the name of Jesus Christ,
    • believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
  2. confess your sin.
