Current biodiversity on Earth is the result of evolution, and its distribution is the result of plate tectonics. These combine into Hypothesis 35 as we go from Noah to Peleg, and then from Peleg to Abraham.

In popular science (SciPop) Pangaea is the original super-continent which predates the formation of the continents as we know them today. This is a conclusion which we deduce from the evidence.
September 8th
The fire kindled in the lowest hell consumed the core of the Earth. The core melted completely so that the pillars of the Earth lost their base of support. The mantle collapsed.
September 6th
Peleg's small and unremarkable appearance in the Bible allows us to resolve the expansion of hell, plate tectonics, evolution, the distribution of biodiversity and the fulfillment of prophecy, with a theory of gravity.

Pangaea was a contiguous landmass after Noah's flood, but it appears to have had a centrally located ocean which became the Mediterranean sea. The coasts of this sea became the cradle of civilization.

In SciPop, all of the continents were once part of the super-continent Pangaea. This is Biblical and it allows us to incorporate plate tectonics and evolution into the creation narrative.

The Biblical history of hell expanding has 9 eras that bring us to the present day. The Millennial Kingdom is the 10th.
He Who Removes Mountains
This is Part of Job's response to Bildad. He's talking about tectonic upheaval. He was contemporaneous with Abraham, so only 200 or so years have passed since the tectonic breakup of Pangaea.
Nuclear Decay was Initially Rapid
If this doesn't scare you, I don't know what will. Hell is expanding. It's the cause of global warming. Science can't do anything about it. Jesus Christ is the only way to escape.
