Assuming heliocentricity (Galileo’s bluff) causes the calculated distance to stars to seem greater than it is, because it’s derived from geometry with a base which is 2 astronomic units (AU) wide.
March 1st
In the atheist human origins narrative (SciPop) there's no hell, or a great gulf of open space inside the Earth, because it's trying to be a logical antidote to guilt, the fear of judgment, and eternal torment.
February 13th
The Bible does NOT say that the Earth is flat. Not anywhere. The flat Earth insanity is what happens when you induce a rationalization of scripture to fit the premise of a flat Earth.
November 26th
If we let our premise (that there's no God) become our desire, and then we interpret evidence according to the desire that our premise is true, then we end up with SciPop.
Stellar Parallax
Stellar parallax is used to "verify" that the Earth is moving but it's dependent upon the A priori assumption that the Earth is moving. In case you weren't sure, that's circular reasoning.
What is Wrong With this Picture?
A paradigm is the set of assumptions that you make about the world and what you want to believe about it. Within it evidence is evaluated, sorted, and incorporated into the narrative that you've chosen.
Nuclear Decay was Initially Rapid
If this doesn't scare you, I don't know what will. Hell is expanding. It's the cause of global warming. Science can't do anything about it. Jesus Christ is the only way to escape.
The Scientific Trinity
Popular science (SciPop) is a faith-based religion and it has a god. Everything starts from IF. IF is the origin of the entire religion of SciPop. IF is a trinity with THEN and THEREFORE.
Effect and Cause
Why are planetary orbits elliptical? We've considered this as an example of how to understand frame of reference, but Newton supposedly solved this problem mathematically in Principia Mathematica:
When Empirical Isn’t
We (that's me and the Holy spirit) were asked: if Newton's law of universal gravitation is an empirical formula, how is the accepted mass of the sun (1.9^E30 kg) not empirical?
