The Stars Fought from Heaven

They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.

(Judges 5:20) KJV

Consider this for instance. If this passage from Judges is to be believed, and why wouldn’t we believe it since it’s in the Bible, the stars fought against Sisera. The stars really can’t do that if they’re distant suns and galaxies.

We don’t have much detail about this particular instance, but it appears that there was a shower of meteorites. There are other examples in the Bible in which stars fell, or will fall, from heaven.

So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

(Exodus 9:24) KJV

This passage speaks of hail mingled with fire in the time of the Exodus from Egypt. If the stars are reflective CFM in the Kuiper belt then any time they are deployed in God’s will we can anticipate that they will partially burn up as they pass through the earth’s atmosphere, hence the fire. This means that, as far as the Bible is concerned, stars include what we call galaxies, stars, planets, asteroids and meteorites. Just not the sun. There’s only one sun.

Then there is the outstanding example from Joshua of the sun and moon standing still.

The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.

(Habakkuk 3:11) KJV

This is another example of the Lord using a meteor shower to destroy the enemies of the children of Israel.

And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.

(Joshua 10:11) KJV

Great stones from heaven weren’t created from nothing, neither were they drifting through the upper atmosphere. They were in orbit in the asteroid or Kuiper belt long before they were dropped on the enemies of the children of Israel. If the stars are CFM which includes rocks and pieces of reflective material with crystalline properties, then there is a provenance for this material: the firmament, a sphere of rigid crystal on the edge of space (hence crystalline firmament material).
