For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.(Hebrews 4:12) NKJV
We began our evangelistic ministry on Twitter thinking that it would be a great way to promote our Christian SciFi novel Biblio’s Blood.
In it we develop a fictional type of computer system, the hemalytic erythroprocessor, which uses blood in a process similar to human metabolism to generate power. The idea was to explore the possibility of whether or not a computer could have a soul, and the even more intriguing notion that artificial intelligence could be born again. Couple that with the irony of CyberMingle: online dating for artificial intelligence.
Little did we know that we would unleash a torrent of criticism from atheists, scientists and quite a few Christians. It forced us to discern exactly how to place a clear distinction between the soul and spirit.
A soul is a gravity node with a frequency unique to each individual, it encompasses the scriptural concepts of mind and heart:– Soul, definition
– mind: the seat of our consciousness and personality;
– heart: the emotions and passion which drive and motivate us.
Our soul makes us sentient.
The Spirit is a vapor, Oxygen, which binds with the hemoglobin molecule in red blood cells to animate a body through metabolic processes. The spirit/body entity serves as the host or tabernacle for a soul.– Spirit, definition
This is part of a Biblical theory of gravitation which combines a unified field theory with the plan of redemption. It’s a unified theory of everything. This body of work grew to become Matty’s Paradigm.
