A Tribulation Anoxic Event

And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

(Revelation 8:8-9) KJV

And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

(Revelation 16:3) KJV

The Cenomanian-Turonian anoxic event may have an analogue in prophecy. So what does the scripture say? Is there any evidence that an anoxic mass-extinction event is recorded in the Bible?

Sort of. The passages above aren’t about Noah’s flood. They’re a prophecy about another anoxic event which is prophesied to take place in the future.

We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.

Matty’s Razor

The main purpose of mainstream science (SciPop) is to make it look like the Bible is meaningless drivel which was written by ignorant Bronze-Age goat herders who didn’t know where the sun went at night. The thing is, they weren’t ignorant and not only did they know where the sun came from, but they knew where it’s going to. There will come a time when the prophecy in the Bible about events in the future will come to pass. We may not be here to see it, in which case we’ll already be dead.

No one knows what happens to us when we die. We’ve found that the human soul is a gravity node which contains our unique awareness which is how it can be immortal and continue our consciousness after death, either in heaven in a new body, or in hell experiencing what it’s like to have your body be consumed by fire while you’re awake and aware of what’s happening.

The existence of the human soul is a predictive testable hypothesis based on gravitational waves, Hypothesis 13, because the waves are emitted from the core of the Earth in response to fluctuations in the human death rate.

How do you feel about that? You don’t need to worry about waking up in hell if you accept Jesus Christ as your savior. You will have everlasting life and get to experience the glory of God in the new Jerusalem.
