Shun Profanity

But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

(2 Timothy 2:16) KJV

If you’re a Christian:

  1. Don’t swear,
  2. avoid entertainment which contains profanity,
  3. disengage from people who are going swear for the purpose of offending you.

You can’t avoid swearing completely, but you can really cut back on the amount that you’re exposed to with some simple choices.

We love SciFi movies, but we have to be really careful what we expose ourselves to.

If the words that Jesus Christ spoke are words of life to those who hear and believe them, then what are swear words? The words of death?
