For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
(2 Timothy 4:3-4) NKJV
What really matters in the popular science narrative of godless existence (SciPop)? Location, location, location. Were forest fires an extinction event at the end of the Triassic? Or did a few burned trees get fossilized?
The most important thing to realize is that there wasn’t a period of time called the Triassic. The fossils assigned to the Triassic are separate geographical locations, not periods of time. It’s a space-time anomaly where the concept of time has been substituted for the concept of space. The Triassic is really just a number of geographic locations around the subtropical zones of the Earth which had a similar ecosystem.
The main body of evidence for this supposed world-wide forest fire event is a study of fossils from one single location in Germany. But the idea caught on. Since then some charred wood has been found in Arizona. So what?

Late Triassic Circular Reasoning
Every time that a fossil is found which looks like fire damaged wood, it’s assigned to the Triassic. It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy, a microcosm of circular reasoning.
Only the Peer Review propaganda machine could get away with taking a notion that late Triassic wildfires were an extinction level event, and deciding that it’s established science. It’s not a testable hypothesis, therefore it’s not scientific.

August 14th – Triassic
The Triassic is an ecosystem, not a period of time. It was buried in Noah’s flood.
