The Mind of the Spirit

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

(Romans 8:26-27) NKJV

Let’s look at the context of the passage. Likewise the Spirit. Spirit is capitalized which means it’s specifically referring to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the comforter which helps us in our weakness.

Groanings is an interesting word. It’s a sighing, especially brought on by circumstances creating great pressure. What’s creating great pressure? The gravitational singularity at the center of the Earth for one thing. It’s a thought that God’s holding so tightly that it’s causing a field to be emitted. It would be like squeezing Play-doh so that it oozes out between our fingers. That’s the power which is maintaining the universe.

He who searches the heart, that’s God the Father. Who is God the Father? the mind and soul of God. The mind of God is the manifestation of the will of God which is portrayed as a figure on an amber throne surrounded by the host of heaven on the sea of glass. The heart of God is the gravitational singularity at the center of the Earth, the circumstance creating great pressure.

The mind of the Spirit, then, is intricately woven into our theory of gravity. Even though it’s not expressly stated as such, it’s an inescapable conclusion of our exhaustive trail of deduction which shows that a theory of gravity is the very essence of the broad narrative of scripture. The gravitational singularity at the center of the Earth is the thought of creation conceived in the mind of the Spirit, God the Father.
