If I want to have an intimate fellowship with the Lord, what do I do? The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. We start by obeying. We have to separate between the clean and unclean, holy and unholy.
The simplest way for me to do this is to maintain my sexual purity and not get involved in relationships – regardless of the gender.
The Spiritual Identity
Which identity type is NOT about satisfying carnal desires? How about this re-arrangement?
Whether I’m attracted to men or women, having a man or woman is only going to detract from my fellowship with the Lord. What’s more important? If we come to the conclusion that our relationship with the Lord is our top priority then we’ve risen above the flesh. Now we’re separating between the holy and the profane, the spiritual and the carnal.
For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it.”
(Matthew 19:12) NKJV
You may be better off by yourself. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it.
Salvation
- Call upon the name of Jesus Christ,
- believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
- confess your sin.
