Whether or not a Biblical word translated as a kind of serpent refers to something which may have been a dinosaur is context dependent. Sometimes a snake is just a snake. Sometimes a serpent is a Sauropod.

Is Satan Limbless?
Does Satan have limbs? If Satan was in the garden of Eden, and the serpent was cursed to be limbless, what does the Bible say about Satan's limbs or lack thereof?
Enmity
The whole of the narrative of Revelation 12 centers on the enmity, hatred, between Satan, the dragon, and the woman. If we apply the relationship of cause and effect we can again place this event after the fall of man.
Deducing the Timing of the War in Heaven
We believe that a fact will be the same regardless of what you believe about the Bible, therefore anything which is only true in the SciPop paradigm isn't a fact.
War in Heaven
Many, probably most people, believe that Satan rebelled in heaven, was cast out and fell to Earth, then either influenced or was the serpent which beguiled Eve in the Garden of Eden. We reject this interpretation.
You Shall Die of Dying
Did the curse on the serpent happen immediately, or did it occur in the first generation of offspring? Since we don't know for sure let's consider what God said to Adam about the tree of knowledge.
The Cockatrice
God cursed the serpent to go on it's belly, therefore it can't have been on it's belly. However, did it's legs immediately disappear? Probably not.
Serpent vs. Snake
There weren't any snakes before the fall of man. It's a logical conclusion which is deduced by the application of cause and effect, logic and reason. Look at it this way, you can’t curse a snake to be limbless, it already is.
The Fall is Coming
Something has to happen which changes an intelligent bipedal reptilian humanoid into a limbless snake. This happens in the context of changing the Earth from its newly created very good state into its cursed state.
A Talking Snake?
We can conclude that Eve had a conversation with a bipedal reptilian humanoid, not a snake. It's described as subtle. This was a highly intelligent sentient being with mastery of language and nuance.
