Big G, the gravitational constant, is a property of A, the gravitational field emitted from the singularity at the center of the Earth. This causes a body to have an attractive force proportional to its mass pG. This is where the freight train of popular science (SciPop) jumped the tracks long ago and went steaming off in the wrong direction.
Here’s why this is important:
- In SciPop, pG is the cause of big G.
- In Matty’s Paradigm pG is an effect of big G, not the cause.

The SciPop theory of gravitation is a remarkable example of circular reasoning where G causes pG which causes M which causes g which is how we measure G which causes pG which causes M which causes g which is how we measure G etc. ad infinitum.
Here’s why SciPop is bankrupt: supposedly, all bodies everywhere are emitting a field of Higgs Boson particles (bosons) which is proportional to the total energy of the body. Every body also absorbs bosons from every other body at a rate which is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. Bosons are coming and going, non stop, and it’s been happening since the beginning of the universe.
Where does the energy come from for this? There isn’t any. Theoretical physics describes a bankrupt energetic system. If the energy to power a system is only the energy inside it then entropy, thermodynamics and friction will causes the system to slow down, cool off and and fall apart. There ought to be an equation for that.
SciPop is a thermodynamic perpetual motion machine. It’s purely theoretical. It’s fundamental premises aren’t testable hypotheses so, technically, it’s not scientific. How about that? SciPop isn’t scientific.
Science, on the other hand, true science, can show you that the universe is being sustained by the power of God just as he said in his word that he would. Where’s the evidence for that? It’s happening now, all around us, since the beginning of creation.
