Rib Meat Help Meet
And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
(Genesis 2:20-23) KJV
A female analogue of man, made from the dust of the Earth, wouldn’t be capable of inspiring him or giving him the motivation and guidance he needed to be able to rise above what he was and subdue the Earth.
We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) have used deductive reasoning to conclude that the curses placed on women and the serpent in the garden of Eden represents their fallen state, therefore, prior to the curse their pure state would have been the opposite.
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.
– Matty’s Razor
If the serpent was cursed to be limbless then before that it had to have had limbs, in which case it wasn’t a snake. If women were cursed to experience the pain of childbirth then the woman travailing in birth in Revelation 12 took place after the fall of man.
We’re working to resolve why, if God made Adam from the dust of the ground, then why couldn’t Eve also have been made from the dust of the ground? The issue must be the intended relationship between a man and a woman as husband and wife, and the fact that a woman made out of dust would have been too similar to Adam to have been able to inspire and motivate him.
