Why was the lamb slain at the foundation of the world? So that light could become darkness, good could become evil, the sinless could become sin, and we could have sentient life with free will.
Logos: Λόγος – a Word
Jesus describes himself as alpha and omega. He meant that he was alpha and also omega at the same time. Jesus Christ is a combination of alpha with omega. The fusion of alpha with omega begot alpha and omega.
Origin of Gender
The Holy Trinity is the origin of gender. God refers to himself as male, Alpha, the Father. Jesus Christ, the begotten, is the Son. Simple deduction gives the gender of the Holy Spirit, Omega, to be female.
He Became Sin for Us
Christ had to become sin for us. This has a meaning which goes beyond the symbolism of Christ on the cross. It goes back to the nature of the matter of which the universe is made.
Slain From the Foundation of the World
Jesus Christ, the Word of God, is also called the lamb that was slain [from] the foundation of the world, which we take to mean the lamb that was slain [at] the foundation of the world.
Foundation: καταβολῆς – katabolé
The "foundation-plan" typically relates to Christ's incarnation, i.e. coming to earth in the flesh to be our Redeemer. This divine plan was set and sealed (guaranteed) before creation.
Back to the Beginning
Some people believe that Genesis 1:1 is a subheading which bookmarks the beginning of creation, not as a creative act. However, some people believe that it was a separate creative act.
Conception: καταβολῆς – katabole
The foundation of the world was an act of conception. Wisdom (Hydrogen, H+) fused with the Holy Spirit (alpha Oxygen, αO2-) to form the Hydroxyl ion (OH-). This existed with Wisdom (H+) to be the deep (H2O).
Slaying the Lamb
If God knew the consequences of making creation before he created it but he chose to create it anyway, it means that the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary was Plan A.
January 5th
The crucifixion is the symbolism we need to be able to understand what God has done for us, but the sacrifice was made when God went against his own nature in order to make creating the universe possible.
