Why was the lamb slain at the foundation of the world? So that light could become darkness, good could become evil, the sinless could become sin, and we could have sentient life with free will.

Hell is Darkness, Heaven is Light
Creation has a purpose which combines the spiritual goal of separating good from evil with the physics of separating light from darkness. It gives us a unified theory of everything within the broad narrative of scripture.
I Am the Light of Life
On the 7th day God rested from his work of creating. This may have been the last time that the world could have been described as very good. It was the peace before the storm. Tomorrow we begin to look at what happens next.
In Him was Life
When we combine a plain reading of the texts with deductive logic is is easy to show that Jesus Christ, the Word and "the deep" are all synonyms for the Son of God.
The Light of Life
Things on Earth are patterned after things in the heavens. God has withdrawn his presence from the world and dwells in a realm of light, while we are here on Earth toiling through an ever encroaching darkness.
December 10th
We have been called to the light. A home has been prepared for us in the light. We are children of light. Let us cast off the unfruitful works of darkness and walk in the light.
