Rather than demonstrating that "science" is based on evidence whereas faith isn't, ironically Christopher Hitchens showed that he didn't understand what evidence is or how it's used.
Epistemological Abuse
Hitchens's razor isn't a philosophical tenet which regulates the use of evidence, it's proof of a failure to understand what evidence is and how it's used. We all have exactly the same evidence.
The Deep is an Incarnation of God
When someone comes along and says, "hey folks, I figured it out" we're skeptical to say the least. When they then prove that they figured it out, they're stoned to death.

We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it's evidence of. - Matty's Razor
July 24th
Hitchens's razor is epistemological sleight-of-hand which fails to distinguish justified belief from opinion.
Matty’s Paradigm is New
Matty’s Paradigm is profoundly different from the popular science (SciPop) paradigm. This means that it's also very different from other attempts at a natural theology of the Bible using science.
What’s a Paradigm?
The only things you need to have everlasting life is to believe in Jesus Christ and repent of your sin. You don’t have to understand Matty's Paradigm.
What is Matty’s Paradigm?
Matty's Paradigm is a scientific theory of creation. Most creationists make the mistake of trying to make a case for creation from within the popular science (SciPop) paradigm. It's misguided and unnecessary.
The 3 Aspects of Scientific Faith
The traditional battle line of science vs. faith is a false dichotomy because what people call "science" is actually popular science (SciPop) which requires 3 aspects of faith: ignorance, motivational and developmental.
Evidence is Irrelevant
The physical world that we can see is evidence of its past. A fossil skull, for example, is proof that something happened at an earlier time. What we think it's evidence of is based on our point of view.
