In the time we've spent arguing on Twitter one of the points of contention is: which is real, epicycles or retrograde motion? Arguments get nowhere because the answer is: both, depending on your frame of reference.
Eternity: הָעֹלָם֙ – haolam
A gravitational singularity stops time. If time isn't passing at the singularity, but all around it time passes at a rate proportional to the square of the distance from it, then time is both not passing, and all of it has passed.
