Meaning comes from context. For example the phrase "were garnished" in Revelation 21:19. One meaning could be: the wall of the city had foundations, and the foundations had been decorated with precious stones.

December 14th

1+1 = 2 is math, but it is also logical. It's an example of cause and effect. The cause (1+1) produces the effect (2). God established the relationship between cause and effect when the Son, Jesus Christ, was begotten.

December 11th

Let's take stock of our surroundings and gather our perspective. The word perspective doesn't occur in the King James Bible. The idea, point of view, does. We refer to it as frame of reference.

Pure Gold

The streets of heaven are paved with gold so pure that it's transparent. It would seem that this isn't the same kind of gold that we have on Earth, but another element that's not part of the known periodic table.
