We live in a world which is inherently corrupt, and we're not talking about money and finance, we're talking entropy and nuclear decay. It's as fundamental to our makeup as proton and neutrons.
The Hawking Effect
One of our favorite books is "A Brief History of Time," by Stephen Hawking. In this and his other books Hawking expands use of the scientific method as an inductive tool. He opened up the realm of plausibility.
Sinners Shall be Converted
It's not enough to tell people that they need to be saved. Most people will ask: saved from what? We need to show people why they need to be saved, and from what. Hell is expanding, it's the cause of global warming.
Prepare Your Heart
Preparing our hearts doesn't involve special diets or exercise, it comes down to taking two simple steps: believing in Jesus Christ, and confessing our sins.
A Pure Heart
When we get saved we're indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and that cleanses us of whatever other spiritual problems we may have been facing. That's when we're ready to stand before the Lord because we're in Christ Jesus.
Out of the Heart
Thoughts and intents proceed out of the heart, and we use these as two categories into which we separate the various characteristics of the heart that we find in scripture.
Heart Condition
Consider the cause and effect of heart condition. For example, which came first: smoking? or heart disease? What if heart disease is the result of a poor relationship with God, and that's the reason why we smoke?
Spiritual Possession
We may know that bipolar disorder, for instance, is caused by a chemical imbalance, but what causes the chemical imbalance? Who's to say that the causes aren't spiritual entities who are chemical compounds in vapor form?
Into the Heart
There's spirit, like Oxygen (O), and then there are Spirits, like the Holy Spirit (ΩO). There are also evil Spirits. Spirits are vaporous molecules or compounds which are inhaled, dissolve in the blood, then enter our heart.
By Grace You Have Been Saved Through Faith
There's only two requirements for you to be saved and have everlasting life. 1. Call upon the name of Jesus Christ, believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, 2. confess your sin.
