Hell and Deduction are Before the Lord

Hell and Destruction are before the LORD; So how much more the hearts of the sons of men.

(Proverbs 15:11) NKJV

We’re relating the events of the Bible to natural processes for which there is physical evidence. There’s abundant physical evidence of Noah’s flood: the stratigraphic column from the Cambrian to the Quaternary.

If Noah’s flood is the result of natural processes which were set in motion at the fall of man when God cursed the Earth, what could they be? It’s a simple process of deduction to find out a possible cause.

Deduction is an investigative technique where you draw conclusions by examining evidence. In contrast to popular science (SciPop) which has been using Induction for centuries (see also Induction).

– Deduction, definition

Here’s our context, the description of the day that the waters of the great deep, which were inside the Earth, burst forth through the fountains of the great deep.

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the windows of the heavens were opened.

(Genesis 7:11) ESV
  1. What could cause the great deep to burst forth through passages in rock which had been sealed shut for over 1,600 years?
    • Pressure.
  2. What could cause the pressure to increase in a sealed vessel full of water?
    • Increasing temperature.
  3. At what point does increasing the temperature of water cause an dramatic increase in volume?
    • Boiling point.
  4. Do we have a source of heat which could cause the waters of the great deep to boil?
    • The expansion of hell.

The waters of the great deep which were in contact with the hot core of the Earth boiled. The steam created enough pressure to cause the fountains of the great deep to burst forth. Deduction. We recommend it.
