Devonian Again
And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.
(Joshua 10:11) KJV
Violent death fell from above and entombed millions of fish, entire schools, so quickly that they were preserved in a state of panic. Violent death fell from where, exactly?
We need to understand the sheer scope of the fossil record. There are thousands of extinct species of fish. There are vast areas of sedimentary deposits which contain the remains of entire schools of fish, such that their bodies are in the millions. How could this happen in a flood of water?
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.
– Matty’s Razor
The narrative that we’re taught, of lone animals wading close to the banks of slow-moving streams getting trapped and buried in mud, gives the impression that fossilization is a rare event. Nothing could be further from the truth. Fossilization happened en mass, and very quickly.
One example of a mass extinction of millions of fish is preserved as the Old Red Sandstone of Scotland. Here’s how it’s described back in 1823 before the popular science peer review propaganda machine (SciPop) was up to speed with it’s narrative.
It is “a wonderful record of violent death falling at once, not on a few individuals, but on whole tribes.”
– William Buckland, (1823) Reliquae diluvianae, p. 173
Violent death fell from above and entombed millions of fish, entire schools, so quickly that they were preserved in a state of panic. Fell from where? Is an obvious question. Where did billions of tons of sediment come from that could fall out of the sky? Technically speaking that ought to be impossible but we have accounts in scripture about historical events which are similar and there’ prophecy about it happening in the future. We need to get a handle on it. Fortunately it’s not a difficult question to answer and it gives us Hypothesis 4.
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.
– Faith, definition
Water from above the firmament struck the surface of Mars on route to Earth. It picked up billions of tons of reddish sand, mud and stones and deposited it on the Earth. The deposits are found in several locations around the Earth. We also propose that the erosion features of the Martian surface were formed during Noah’s flood.
Predictive Testable Hypothesis 4
- IF water from above the firmament struck Mars on its way to earth during the flood,
- AND this is the provenance of the sediment in the Old Red Sandstone and others,
- THEN chemical analysis of samples from Mars will confirm the provenance.
