The Milk of the Word

We find that there are passages of scripture which, though appearing to be metaphorical, describe actual physical conditions or chemical reactions. These misunderstood passages are dismissed as flowery poetic language.If a baby needs milk to survive before it can tolerate solid food, has this been patterned after the processes which took place on the first and second days of the creation of the universe?

June 15th

The soul is our consciousness and personality which dwells in a body that is animated by the spirit. A spirit from God, literally breath, gives life to our body by energizing metabolism through the action of the hemoglobin molecule.

June 4th

The Holy Trinity gives us the first cause of the universe and establishes a template for life which we see patterned in creation. It manifests as sentient beings which are comprised of spirit, soul and body.

May 2nd

When the Bible refers to living creatures that have life, it's referring to a sentient being which has a spirit and a soul. It's not equivalent to the biological definition of life.

The properties of Jasper and Jacinth give us two confirmations of our hypothesis that gravity was created on the second day. They also confirm that the sun was created on the fourth day.

In the broad narrative of scripture the separation of light and darkness isn't a cycle from day to night. It's the prevailing theme of the Bible but this separation has to be physical and permanent.

Pattern and process repeat themselves in creation. We're told that things on Earth are copied from things in the heavens. Can we use this truth to understand how Jesus turned water into wine?

The crucifixion is the symbolism we need to be able to understand what God has done for us, but the sacrifice was made when God went against his own nature in order to make creating the universe possible.
