Whom Thou Choosest

Sometimes we just need to gather up our thoughts. We can ponder things in such a way that we see a theme, and then we develop the theme by picking through some scripture. The word chosen occurs in a couple of Jesus' parables.

The Son of Destruction

The son of perdition is used to refer to Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus. The paradox is that, even though Judas made a choice which led the Lord to the cross, it was a necessary part of God's will and the plan of redemption.
