The whole, all, to complete.
To hang together: וּֽלְכָל־ – ulekal
Whoever translated Hebrew knowing that it's describing the core accretion process? No one. Where we're going is: at the end of time all darkness will sink down into a mass.
Darkness: לַחֹ֗שֶׁךְ – choshek
During the formation of planet Earth, the action of the particles moving to form the core of the Earth is pictured in the sense of sinking into darkness and obscurity.
Be discouraged: יָר֔וּץ – ratsats
Discouragement is one of the words used in the Bible to describe the emotional condition we call depression.
To put, place, set: שָׂ֤ם – sum
Setteth: שָׂ֤ם - sum [to put, place, set] The mass is in motion. It has been set in a place or it is in motion towards the place where it is to be set. This is the 3rd Hebrew concept of gravity which we have identified.
At the end of time: קֵ֤ץ – qets
This means end, limit, of space or time. Could we be talking about the end of all mass? Or are we talking about the end of time, as in, time stops?
Setteth fast: מֵכִ֥ין – mechin
Once of our gravity concepts which is part of the core accretion model of the 2nd day of creation.
To discern: בִּין – bin
The Hebrew words bayin - בֵּין and bin - בִּין are very nearly the same word. They're part of the meaning of a root which means: to understand nuance, to separate between.
Gravity as a Process
Mass sinks in time, into stratified layers of sediment: a solid core on fire in the darkness, sunk in the shadow of death. (Job 28:3) MP Technical Paraphrase
Lye: בַּנֶּ֔תֶר – Nitre, nether
We've frequently heard it said that the Bible isn't a science book. Many of the people who say this are Christians. We disagree, but we can understand why people, even Christians, would say this.
