And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.
(2 Kings 2:9-10) KJV
Passing the mantle. Decloaking.
if thou see me when I am taken from thee…
Could just as easily be.
if the Quinjet Pilot has been instructed to land decloaked…
Here’s the thing about being a prophet. Elijah told his people that one day they would see him be taken up to heaven in a chariot of fire, because he was accustomed to traveling that way. However, under normal circumstances the Quinjet Pilots are instructed to be cloaked for landings and take offs.
As Samuel grew up, the LORD was with him and made come true everything that Samuel said.
(1 Samuel 3:19) GNT
That’s not really the right way to regard the cause/effect relationship. Samuel only said that which would happen which he knew was physically possible, because he had already figured it out and done it.
