The stars are falling to Earth, slowly, and the net decrease in their orbital radii is seen as an increase in rotation speed as the stellar material approaches Earth.
Earth doesn’t rotate. The stars are falling to Earth, making it look as if Earth’s rotation is speeding up, but our relationship to the sun is the same and they can’t figure it out.

- IF the “speed of rotation” increases
- BUT day length stays the same (or increases)
- THEN how do you resolve this in a heliocentric (sun worship) paradigm?
